Full circuit session at Boundary Bay (CZBB)

Advanced · Boundary Bay (CZBB) · ~10 min

A full gate-to-gate circuit session: a taxi request, a line-up-and-wait instruction, a takeoff clearance, downwind and final reports, a touch-and-go and a full-stop circuit, a landing clearance, and taxiing in, each with its own readback (NAV CANADA VFR Phraseology guide: Taxi p. 21, Line Up/Line Up and Wait p. 25, Takeoff p. 26, Basic Circuit Pattern pp. 29-30, Circuit Exercises p. 32, Landing p. 41, Taxi Instructions After Landing p. 45).

The situation

You are the pilot of C-GABC, a Cessna 172 parked at Boundary Bay (CZBB), one of the busiest training airports in the country, so calls here are brisk. Boundary Bay assigns VFR aircraft a transponder code, so expect a squawk with your taxi instruction. The plan is a full circuit session: taxi out, one circuit with a touch and go, one more to a full stop, then taxi back in. This scenario runs the whole flight, gate to gate. Call Boundary Bay Ground when ready.
