Cross-country: Abbotsford to Chilliwack
Practises a short VFR cross-country from Abbotsford to Chilliwack on a flight plan: telling Tower your flight plan and departure route, reading back departure instructions and the takeoff clearance, leaving the zone, and the mandatory frequency inbound report at the destination (NAV CANADA VFR Phraseology guide pp. 20, 26, 35, 51; CFS VFR Terminal Procedures Chart).
The situation
You are the pilot of C-GABC, a Cessna 172, holding short of runway 01 at Abbotsford (CYXX) with information Kilo. You have filed a VFR flight plan to Chilliwack (CYCW) and plan to leave on the published GREENHOUSE departure: runway heading to 1,500 feet, then direct KILGARD, then GREENHOUSE. Tell Tower all of that when you call ready.
